We handle bookkeeping, tax, and outsourced CFO work for businesses across the United States, with a licensed CPA reviewing everything before it reaches you. The firm is based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Most of our clients are in construction, healthcare, ecommerce, and SaaS.

How we work

Six commitments. Each one is checkable, which is the only kind worth publishing.

  • A CPA reviews the work before you see itNot a title on a website. A licensed CPA looks at every close, every return, and every report before it leaves the firm. If a number is wrong, it is our name on it.
  • The same people, month to monthYou get a named bookkeeper and a named reviewer, and you keep them. Nobody re-explains the business to a new person in March because someone rotated off the account.
  • One team instead of three vendorsThe people who keep your books prepare your return and build your forecast. There is no handoff period, no reconciliation between what three firms think happened, and no question that falls between them.
  • We tell you when we are not the right firmSome engagements are outside what we do well. We would rather say so on the first call than take the work and find out together six months in.
  • We say where we stopEvery service page on this site names what we do not do. An accounting firm that will not draw that line is one you find the edges of the hard way.
  • Bad news earlyA problem surfaced in month two is a decision. The same problem surfaced at year end is a write-off. The value of monthly work is entirely in the timing, so we do not sit on findings.

Where we specialize

Four industries where we have the most client history and the deepest bench. We work outside them regularly, and we will tell you on the call whether we are the right firm for yours.

Construction

Job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion revenue, run monthly rather than at year end. We track committed cost against budget and handle retainage, AIA pay applications, and overbilling and underbilling positions as part of the close.

Healthcare

Payer mix and days in AR broken out by insurer, reported monthly. Books are kept to a standard that holds up for a lender review or an audit. When payer timing shifts, it appears in the monthly package with the number attached.

Ecommerce

Contribution margin by SKU and by channel, calculated after ad spend, returns, merchant fees, and fulfillment. Multi-channel revenue reconciled to deposits. Inventory and COGS tied to landed cost.

SaaS & AI

MRR, net revenue retention, burn, and runway reported alongside the monthly financials. Deferred revenue recognized under ASC 606. Board reporting and the books come from the same set of records.
